Applications
1: Inorganic macromolecular compound, water-soluble, corrosive.
2: Depending on raw water quality, the pilot test will be performed prior to the application in order for optimal dosage (Reference dosage range: 20-800ppm).
3: For calculation convenience, the pilot test solution will be subject to a weight-to-volume ratio(W/V), generally 2% to 5%.In the event of a 3% solution: it is required to measure and put 3g PAC into a 200ml graduate, add the water about 50ml, dilute with another 100ml water after the dissolution, and finally shakeup it well.
4: Liquid product is prepared to 5-10% aqueous solution, while solid product is prepared to 3-5% aqueous solution (by weight).
5: With solid: water = 1: 5 (W / V) prepared and dissolved, then the water is added and diluted to the said concentration.
Precautions of poly aluminum chloride:
Hazard: Route of entry: Ingestion; Health hazard: irritative to the skin and mucous membrane. The inhalation of high concentration may cause bronchitis, and bronchial asthma may be caused for the individual. A large number of accidental administration may cause oral erosion, gastritis, gastrorrhagia, and mucous membrane necrosis. Chronic effect: long-term exposure may cause headaches, dizziness, loss of appetite, cough, nasal congestion, chest pain and other symptoms.
First-aid measures: Skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing, and use soap and water thoroughly to rinse the skin.Eye contact: lift the eyelids, rinse with flowing water or normal saline, and get medical advice.Ingestion: rinse out the mouth, take milk or albumen, and get medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures: Extinguishingmethods: Firefighters must wear a fire suit resistant to acid and alkali. Extinguishing agent: dry sandy soil.
Release measures: isolate the contaminated area, and restrict the access. Emergency personnel will be recommended to wear dust masks (full face) and anti-acid and alkali overalls. It is prohibited to directly contact with the leakage. Small leakage: flying dust is prevented, and the leakage will be collected by clean shovel into a closed container.Large leakage: covered by plastic sheeting or canvas. The removal shall be performed under the guidance of experts.
Storage: Precautions: stored in a cool, dry, and ventilated warehouse. It is stored away from fire and heat source. The relative humidity is maintained below 75%. Packaging must be sealed and moisture-proof.
